RAPID RESOLUTION THERAPY
Engaging the conscious mind's prefrontal cortex in traditional therapy aims to modify cognition, emotions, and behaviors. While resolving issues originating from the conscious mind would be ideal, it is actually the primal subconscious mind that triggers the nervous system response.
This discrepancy explains the nonsensical nature of certain thoughts and emotions, as the conscious mind, responsible for rationalization, is not the source of these problematic experiences.
The primitive subconscious mind serves to ensure survival, safety, and prevention of negative occurrences. In recalling past traumas, the primitive mind reacts as if the events are recurring, prompting the nervous system to act in the present.
Rapid Resolution Therapy intervenes by updating the primitive mind, redirecting its focus from non-existent problems, resulting in enhanced feelings of joy, serenity, and self-regulation.
